What is the difference between studs and earrings?
The difference is the material.
Earrings can be made of gold, copper, real silver , or plastic. So, earrings come in a wide variety of materials.
Stud earrings are made of surgical steel (not nickel-free) or titanium (nickel-free) . They're ideal if you can't tolerate other materials.
Does surgical steel contain nickel?
Yes, surgical steel is composed of carbon, iron, chromium, and nickel .
This is so low that 98% of people can wear surgical steel without any problems; it's not for nothing that they're used as stud earrings. Unfortunately, a very small group does react to nickel; for these people, we recommend titanium earrings .
Stud earrings don't have a sharp point, but stud earrings do because they're fired forcefully through your earlobe with a stud gun at the jeweler's. At Aramat Jewels, you'll find studs for adults and children. Whether you're looking for round studs , square studs, or if you love animal studs, Aramat Jewels is the place for you.
Other ear jewelry, such as a helix or tragus piercing, now has to be pierced because a piercing can damage the cartilage so much that it splinters, a condition sometimes called cauliflower ear.
Stud earrings also have a normal butterfly back that you can easily remove, but the backs of stud earrings can be quite tight, making them difficult to remove.
