What is the difference between creoles and hoop earrings?
Creoles are closed rings that click or screw through the ear. Hoop earrings is the broader term — all creoles are hoop earrings, but not all hoop earrings are creoles.
Are creoles suitable for sensitive ears?
Our silver creoles are 100% nickel-free. Stainless steel creoles are low nickel and hypoallergenic for most people. For a nickel allergy, choose 925 silver.
Can I swim or shower with creoles?
Stainless steel creoles are water-resistant — rinse them briefly afterwards. Silver creoles should preferably be kept dry to prevent oxidation.
How do I choose the right size creoles?
Measure the distance from your earlobe to where you want to wear the ring. Choose 10–15 mm for subtle, 20–25 mm for classic, and 35 mm+ for a statement look.
Are large creoles heavy?
No, our creoles are lightweight — even the larger sizes. Stainless steel and silver are both light materials that wear comfortably.
